My faith journey started in my teens, when I became active in youth group due to an invite from a close friend. My relationship with God has been a source of ongoing strength and guidance for me throughout many hills and valleys in my life.

What is your favorite season and why?

I love Spring and Fall! I love Spring because I love "re-birth" and the blooming of all things new! I love Fall because it is the shedding of the old and "letting go" - and in Colorado, Fall is absolutely GORGEOUS!

What or who inspires you most?

My family inspires me to be my best self. I am a mom of three, and I have been a wife for 23 years. I am inspired by personal growth, fueled by gratitude for all that I have and I am constantly inspired by people who can turn pain into purpose and struggles into triumph.

One thing people don't know about you?

My background is in education... I taught kindergarten for 15 years and then I opened a preschool and owned and operated it for over 13 years.

What is your idea of a perfect day?

My perfect day would involve something simple such as a walk along the river or camping on a lake... my favorite days usually involve water and nature.
