After a long battle with severe addiction and depression, I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in a rehab facility in 2015. He rescued me from a lifetime of chaos and darkness and brought me into an amazing new life full of hope, love and purpose. Now I am driven to tell everyone I meet about the hope that is found in Jesus and that what he did for me, he can do for them too.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Originally thought I was going to join the military until I realized that I didn't follow rules very well. Then I thought it would be cool to be a historian because I love history, but I hated going to school. After that I didn't really have any plans, but I'm glad God did.
When did you first come to Grace?
I first came to Grace church in 2019. I remember thinking, "This is the realest place that I have ever been." I knew right away that this was my new home.
What is your biggest challenge?
Sitting still and being quiet. I'm a on my feet, on the go, all the time kind of person that talks too much, so quiet time by myself is extremely difficult for me to do.
What is your favorite book?
I love Harry Potter and have read that series multiple times, but I loved the American classic Moby Dick so much I actually read it twice back-to-back.
What is your favorite quote?
Life begins where your comfort zone ends.
