Kathy Cade
Finance Assistant
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, growing up in a very loving and caring Christian home. At the age of four, my parents moved our family (me and three older brothers) to Arvada. I was baptized as a child, and accepted Jesus as my personal savior in Sunday school when I was nine years old. I believe God has continued to reassure me that being a believer has brought me closer to my faith and walk with Jesus Christ. My husband Gary and I attended Arvada High School and we were married in 1986. I started attending Grace in 1990 and joined the staff in 1999. I have a beautiful daughter Kymberlee and an awesome son-in-law, Jordan Long. My two grandkids, Kinzlee and Jace, are the loves of my life and definitely keep me hopping!
What is your favorite treat or snack?
I have a hard time passing up anything with the word CHOCOLATE in it!
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a veterinarian; but I quickly learned that if I got into that profession, that I would have to own a farm due to my love for animals. I would have adopted every stray animal that ever came into my office.
A place you would like to visit?
I would like to go back east during the fall and see the colors in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
What is your favorite book?
I don’t really have a favorite book but a favorite author would be Karen Kingsbury who is a great Christian writer.
What is your idea of a perfect day?
My idea of a perfect day would be with the family spending the day at a beautiful lake in the Colorado Mountains. It doesn’t get any better than that!!
